Position Title: RN - Cardiovascular Lab (50 miles Radius Rule)
Position Type: Contract
Location: 235 N Pearl St. Brockton MA 02301
Duration: 3 Months (Extension Possible)
Shift: AM - 12hr; 36hr Days, 7a-7:30p, on-call weekend rotation, Holidays as needed.

Minimum Years of Experience: 2+

Compensation Details:
Gross Hourly Pay Rate: $99/hr (Stipend Available)
OT Rate: $139.50/hr


Description:
AM - 12hr
36hr Days, 7a-7:30p, on-call weekend rotation, Holidays as needed.
Required Exp: 2+ year recent experience as a registered nurse in CV lab experience and Epic experience. Tele test on-site on day 1 of assignment. Must have passing Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia exam to confirm assignment.

Required Certs: BLS, ACLS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:​
  • Meets performance criteria of a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab/PV Staff Nurse.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language.
  • Able to complete mathematical computations required to administer medications and treatment protocols.
  • Able to input information into clinical computer systems (Data Entry).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
  1. Utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care of patients through:
  2. Assessing and reassessing patients and families.
  3. Planning the process of nursing care.
  4. Implementing and/or directing delivery of nursing care.
  5. Evaluating care delivered.
  6. Planning the process of nursing care.
  7. Implementing and/or directing delivery of nursing care.
  8. Evaluating care delivered.
  9. Practices and promotes nursing care within professional standards.
  10. Practices and promotes nursing care within legal standards.
  11. Practices and promotes nursing care within ethical standards.
  12. Provides patient teaching to patient and/or family.
  13. Orients all level of Nursing division personnel, and nursing students.
  14. Participates in unit-based educational programs.
  15. Takes responsibility for own learning.
  16. Demonstrates effective leadership skills.
  17. Supports and collaborates in the Medical Center Performance Improvement plan through unit quality · · improvement/quality control activities.
  18. Utilizes current research in area of clinical practice.
  19. Complies with patient safety goals as set forth by the Medical Center.
Compensation: $99.00 per hour
